UNissues.org is a non-commercial resource that was developed in an effort to present basic information about the United Nations, its principal organs as well as their activities. This web-site is aimed at educational needs only. The main goal of this resourse is to promote the ideas of the United Nations Organization among pupils, students, teachers, officials and all others who are interested in the UN activities.

Moreover, the web-site has a unique testing system to check the knowledge of the United Nations basic facts. After a simple registration you will be able to check if you really know the structural and functional pecularities of the UN principal organs, their aims and the history of the United Nations Organization.

We strive to make this web-site a useful online studying resource about the United Nations for everyone and we are open for suggestions. The United Nations Millennium Declaration, signed in September 2000, commits the states to:

• Improve maternal health

• Combat HIV/AIDS, malaria, and other diseases

• Ensure environmental sustainability
